There are a number of support groups, workshops, and activities specifically set up for people with depression, their carers, family members and friends across Australia. They cover anything from understanding the basics of depression to creating positive mental wellbeing.  There are also events that help to draw attention to and improve the awareness of depression in Australia.

ONLINE PEER SUPPORT

Around the clock online peer support for you to talk about depression in a safe, supportive and anonymous environment  depressioNet provides information, help and peer support to people in the community impacted by depression. The peer support service is facilitated through an email service, message boards and live chat.
