My mother by Issabella

I really don't know where to start. When I was younger, my mother developed depression. It was really sad for me to see her each time I'd come from school, that she is still in bed, really really sad.

At one point she got really really bad. One day, we were watching television (myself and the other siblings) and my mother was in her room, at that time I was about 10, now I'm 24, I came in just to check with her, she told me to go away, that she was ok.

About 5 minutes later I came in, and she was trying to strangle herself, I quickly ran to get a knife and cut the belt she tied around her neck. I saved her!! If I didn't come in when I did I wouldn't have had a mother anymore. She ended up in hospital that day. Years later she has had her ups and downs, but now she has made a remarkable recovery.

Thank you for letting me share this to you all
