Waves

Here it comes again,
Crashing down on me.

Trying to brace myself for
the oncoming slaughter
Each wave is stronger
than the one before it

When will the calm bestow
its trust in me...
I want to live again!

Must fight the storm,
It will pass.........
It must!

If I can just hold on and
take the ride
Instead of nearly drowning
in its flow

I must fight the demon within
Never to surrender.
