Specialising in:
We are a Therapy/Counselling Centre that focuses on personal service and have, as one of our primary goals, the restoration and wholeness of individuals, couples and families through affordable, professional counselling practices designed to suite individual needs. Hands of Hope operates with an eclectic approach to counselling rather than focusing on a particular style. We have endeavoured to gather together many 'best practice' counselling methods and have used a Christian ethos as our foundation. By this we seek to provide quality counselling and teaching that is relevant, innovative and meets the needs of those we counsel. We are committed to validating the individual regardless of race, religion, gender or belief systems. Our core aim is to enable our clients to make appropriate choices that will lead to a more satisfying, whole and fulfilling life. Wayne has a particular desire to journey with those who are suffering from or affected by depressive illness. It is our belief that the most effective approach to working with those experiencing depression is in partnership with a medical practitioner as we apply the principals and practice of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Trials throughout many parts of the world confirm this to be the most effective approach. Further details can be found at www.handsofhope.com.au. Therapy Methods
