Roslyn Kaiser works with clients experiencing a range of personal and emotional challenges.  As a registered Mental Health Worker with Medicare, Roslyn has a particular interest in depression and cofacilitates a depression support group.  She also has an interest in other mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, anger management and grief, as well as drug and alcohol issues.  Roslyn also works with couples and individuals experiencing relationship issues.

Life coach and life transitions are others areas of interest to Roslyn.

Roslyn believes clients have the capacity to resolve their own challenges through working together with the therapist in sessions.  She considers that change will occur as clients become more competent and are then more capable of finding solutions in their lives.

Roslyn has formal qualifications including a Master of Counselling, a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health, a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts.  In addition, she has experience working with individuals and groups in mental health and drug and alcohol issues, as well as working with individuals, couples and families on relationship issues.  Roslyn believes her qualifications and experience provide clients with the skills and knowledge required to assist them with their issues.

Roslyn believes that if counselling is successful, then clients should feel they are able to face life's challenges in the future without her support or intervention.

Under the Medicare initiative, General Practitioners who refer clients to Roslyn as a Mental Health Worker under the Enhanced Primary Care Program Referral Form can receive a rebate of $44.95 per session for up to five sessions a year.  As stated below, the cost per session is $70.

Hours and Days of Availability

Roslyn is available Monday to Friday from 5:00pm and on Saturdays.

Fee per session

Sessions are $70 each and last for 1 hour.
