ROBERT LUZZA

I am a psychologist who works with adolescents, adults and families.  The clients I usually work with receive assistance from me to deal with issues including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Self esteem and confidence
  • Stress
  • Family problems and crises
  • Career, school, education and work guidance
  • Adolescent and adult developmental issues

I work in a relaxed, non-confrontational and non-judgemental manner.  I draw upon a cognitive behavioural and solution focused therapeutic approach.  This means that the techniques I use are somewhat practical and goal orientated, whereby I provide written and verbal information to my clients on the symptoms and issues they are likely to be experiencing, and together we discuss and plan goals for how things ought to be.  My clients find this approach constructive and beneficial, and it allows them to monitor their progress between the times that we meet.

I work in private consulting, with individuals, couples, families and groups.

I am available for a brief discussion on the telephone prior to you making an appointment.  We can discuss some of your initial questions, and you can see if I am the person you wish to have assist you. Alternatively, you may wish to email me at
