Dr. LINDA EDWARDS
Counselling Psychologist, Hypnotherapist and Life-skills Coach
Art of Living Psychology & Hypnotherapy, Melbourne

Specialising in:

Depression associated with:

  • relationship difficulties,
  • lack of motivation and/or success
  • grief and loss,
  • pain and/or trauma,
  • addictive behaviours and self-sabotage
  • poor self esteem and/or lack of confidence
  • crisis at work and at home,
  • forced career change and/or rehabilitation
  • feeling trapped, stuck, or hopeless

'Overcoming my difficulties with the aid of "exceptional" international helpers has inspired many who come to me with the confidence and courage to do the same.  If you choose, consultations can involve a variety of safe holistic experiential approaches as well as talking.  And if my personality or therapeutic style is not for you, do let me know and I'll be happy to help you find someone who suits you better.'

Linda started counselling in 1976 and has been in private practice for 14 years.  Her training and experience includes: crisis and trauma counselling, life-skills coaching, family and relationship enrichment, Gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, psychodrama, Holotropic breath/bodywork, professional mentoring, emotional intelligence training, and university lecturing and research in humanistic psychology.  She currently works mainly with helping people with anxiety, depression, stress and relationship issues resulting from workplace and family/personal situations.

Linda aims at providing brief, effective, and therefore,
affordable help in a caring supportive environment.

She also aims at providing practical and effective self-help skills to:

  • Deal with intense emotions
  • Build confidence and self esteem
  • Release stress, anxiety and grief
  • Improve business and family relationships
  • Enrich personal and sexual relationships
  • Become free from addictions & self-sabotaging feelings
  • Experience deep inner peace and contentment

Linda's emphasis is on creating appropriate experiences which enable you to unconsciously learn new behaviours.

Linda supports people in helping themselves.

Using a life-skills coaching approach, she teaches powerful and effective self-help techniques for dealing with relationship, personal and business challenges.  These can be down-loaded free from http://www.DrLindaEdwards.com.au

Or, we'll post them to you. Simply phone or email us, or if you prefer, call 9836 8629 to book a time for personal instruction.

N.B. Self-help instructions for people with depression will soon be available on Linda's website.  Until then, you can phone 9836 8629 and a copy will be posted.
