I have been a psychologist in private practice since 1988.  Previously I worked as a probation officer and then in schools in WA and in the UK, as a teacher and school psychologist.

Working with depression has been central to my private practice.   My approach is humanistic and both psychotherapeutic and cognitive.

Usually an exploration is made of the background to, and thoughts and fears underlying, the present situation.   Sometimes dreams are used to provide material for this journey of discovery.

My outlook is holistic; I recognise the complementary nature of broad based support for healing and view the psychological work as part of a wider spectrum.

By attending to the Inner Journey we gain clarity, understanding, and a deeper sense of being in control. Self esteem is enhanced and a sense of peace of mind becomes increasingly attainable.
