Holistic Kinesiology It was through my own experience as a client; suffering chronic irritable bowel syndrome; that I experienced the magic of kinesiology. What is it? People ask. It is body and energy work, incorporating Western ideas, Traditional Chinese Philosophies and the Indian Chakra System. A kinesiology session is all about helping you to feel better. It will help clear away underlying anger or grief that has perhaps caused the depression in the first place. Supported by a Hypnotherapy session to motivate and instil the courage and confidence to get out there and get on with it. These are both completely safe and drug free ways to deal with this debilitating problem. I have worked with a number of people suffering depression and have been amazed at how quickly they begin to feel better and keen to get on with their lives. During your first consultation, you may be asked about your medical history, diet, work, relationships and lifestyle. This will be followed by a muscle – strength test to locate stress and where in the body it is being held. Session duration is 1 ½ hours. As a 'Holistic Kinesiologist', I have been trained in energetic sciences, human physiography and stress diffusion, muscle monitoring techniques, anatomy and physiology of the body as well as communication skills and counselling techniques. I have graduated from 'The Kinesiology College of Energetic Sciences', successfully completing the full time, 2 year course, for the nationally accredited Diploma of Health Sciences in Holistic Kinesiology. 'Holistic Kinesiology – identifies and addresses the underlying stress of symptoms or conditions, using different techniques to facilitate the body's natural healing process, working on the mind, body and spirit.' It is of the utmost importance to me that all of my clients – adults and children, feel listened to, safe, comfortable and above all special. This is because we are all special, there is no one else on this planet like you, you are unique, only when in the throes of depression you don't feel this way.
