I have a very eclectic approach.
I have been working as a psychologist with children, adolescents and their parents since 1976 and have been working with adults since starting my Private Practice in 1990.   Mostly I work with individuals, couples and families.  Depression is quite a pervasive problem and even occurs with children.   It is often comorbid with other problems.

With both children and adults I am willing to change my style of counselling to meet individual needs.   I work cooperatively with parents.

I have worked with people with hearing losses and other physical disabilities, and also had both children and adult clients with intellectual disabilities.

Some of my clients have suffered as a result of traumatic experiences, including accidents, psychological, physical and sexual abuse which have sometimes involved;

• Victim compensation hearings;
• Family Law Court;
• Child Protection matters;

Concerns about sexuality can be linked to depression as well as other issues. I am comfortable working openly with people in this area.

People of all ages and from all walks of life can suffer from depression.   My clientele has ranged from young children to the elderly and my approach varies according to individual needs.
