    Free anonymous 24/7 generalist counselling that does not discriminate.
  • Suicide Call Back Service - 1300 659 467 - 10am to 8:30pm everyday - Referral line for people at risk of suicide, people caring for someone who is suicidal or people bereaved by suicide. Service offers six sessions of 50 minute telephone counselling over a period of up to six months.

  • Kids Help Line – 1800 55 1800 – For young people aged 5-25; free, confidential and anonymous counselling.

  • Crisis Pregnancy Counselling (24hr) - 1300 737 732  Domestic Violence Crisis Service - (03) 6233 2529 or 1800 633 937 9am to midnight Mon-Fri and 4pm to midnight on weekends and public holidays.
  • Poisons Information Line – 131126 - 24/7 Information for poisoning due to prescription medication and more.

  • Sexual Assault Support - 03 6231 1811
    Provides crisis counselling, support with police statements, and coordinates medical and/or forensic examinations if required by victims of sexual assault.

Around the clock online peer support for you to talk about depression in a safe, supportive and anonymous environment  depressioNet provides information, help and peer support to people in the community impacted by depression. The peer support service is facilitated through an email service, message boards and live chat.
Peer Support at depressioNet operates 24 hours a day, please remember that we are not a professional mental health service and cannot provide emergency assistance.
