FINDING A CLINIC OR PSYCHIATRIC WARD The following is a list of clinics and psychiatric wards across Australia. When choosing a clinic or psychiatric ward, it can be helpful discussing it with your GP or psychiatrist, and to learn about the place you have in mind and whether it meets your needs in terms of cost, programs (including any restrictions in activity and other policies), size, and length of stay. Northside Clinic is a 98 bed facility located at Greenwich on the North Shore of Sydney, 7km from Sydney’s central business district. It is recognised as one of the leading private psychiatric hospitals in Australia. The hospital has a number of specialised treatment units, and has professional attachments to the University of Sydney.
