Why Do I Feel?

Why do I feel so alone,
When all my friends are safe at home?
Why do I feel my life is a test,
When all my friends live on waves of zest?
Why do I feel my life is a mess
When all my friends have so much less?
Why do I feel so out of control,
When all my friend's lives are whole?
Why do I feel I've nowhere to turn,
When all my friends are willing to learn?
Why do I feel so full of doubt,
When all my friends know what they are about?
Why do I feel so out of reach,
When all my friends are trying to teach?
Why do I feel so alone,
Why can't I be safe at home?
